    Senior Vice President

    Dave Ackerman is Senior Vice President at Action Group Incorporated. Dave has been with Action Group for 23 years. Dave attended Franklin University and Columbus Technical Institute where he his major studies were in Engineering and Business Management. Dave’s tenure with Action Group has provided him the opportunity and experience to manage all aspects of the Fabrication and Manufacturing of wood, metal, armor, glass and plastics. Dave has managed the Research & Development (R&D), Engineering, Prototyping, Production, Testing and Implementation of OEM, Retail, and Military products. Dave has managed numerous OEM and Retail national roll-out projects. He performed R&D, Engineering, and Prototyping for Microsoft in regards to their Retail Merchandising program nationally and abroad. Currently, Dave is providing all the R&D, Engineering, Prototyping, and Testing for Firestone in conjunction with a national roll-out for various tire displays. In the Military and Security markets, Dave is currently managing all aspects of engineering for American Defense Systems which provides transparent and opaque armor solutions for Military, Nation-Building, and Law Enforcement & High Security Applications. Dave developed and manages the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure within Action Group which consists of over 50 plus PC network. Dave’s professional development has also enabled him to acquire knowledge and skills in most all facets of the manufacturing processes.

    Vice President

    Tracy Garner is General Manager of Operations at Action Group, Incorporated. Tracy has over 28 years operational management experience within the Aerospace, Department of Defense (DoD), and residential construction industries. Tracy is a 21 year Air Force veteran having served in Operation Desert Storm. Tracy obtained a BS in Business Management and the rank of Senior Master Sergeant (E-8) during his tenure in the Air Force. Tracy served as First Sergeant in Operation Desert Storm and has numerous military awards and decorations. Tracy also served as Vice President of Quality/Operational Excellence for a Fortune 500 homebuilder where he was responsible for overall process improvement and operational excellence in all facets of business operations. Tracy maintains the following certifications: Leadership and Performance Management, Operational Risk Management, Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Development, Instructional Systems Design (ISD), Total Quality Management (TQM), Malcom Baldrige Examiner, ISO 9000 Auditor, and 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

  • John E. Gadrim
    Project Manager

    John Gadrim is Project Manager overseeing all orders placed on the Military side of AGI’S production team. John graduated from Pickerington high school in 1984. John holds an A-General, B-General and B-4 General Engineering License. John’s knowledge of the steel industry stems back to 1984 for when he started his career as an iron worker.

    John’s achievement – oriented professional skills stem from 20 + years of engineering/ production management knowledge. John provides in-depth experience in Cost/Schedule and Estimating/Budgeting and procedures necessary to ensure that the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and start up activities of major projects are properly planned,
    scheduled and completed in ensure all costumers deadlines for shipment to there facility.

    In the Military and Security markets, John oversees and manages all aspects for American Defense Systems, American Physical Security Group, JCB, AM General and numerous other military groups. These companies provide opaque armor solutions for our Military, Embassies and Law Enforcement.

    John’s analytical abilities include: Annual business development, Variance analysis, Data mining, Performa analysis, strong PC/spreadsheet skills, detail oriented with proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems.

    Government and Military Contracts Officer

    John Stevenson serves as Government and Military contracts officer at Action Group. John has over 33 years contracting and engineering experience. John graduated from Franklin University with a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering and Business Administration. John is a 25 year military veteran having served with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force Reserves. During his tenure with the U.S. Navy, John was awarded the Purple Heart for his actions in Vietnam and the Jordanian Crisis, and is also a USAFR Veteran of Desert Storm.

    John manages all contract solicitations with the following agencies; Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Tank and Automotive Command (TACOM), United States Marine Corps (USMC), U.S. Army Depots, Department of Defense (DoD), and Homeland Security. John’s professional development has enabled him to acquire skills in engineering, contracting, quality assurance, technical writing and business administration.
